About Us
Young Neighbors Without Borders (YNWB) is a faith and youth-led platform, comprised of interlinked initiatives which were inspired by Pope Francis' duo Encyclicals 'Fratelli Tutti and Laudato Si’ as well as his Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation - Christus Vivit.  The platform is slowly growing, connecting young Christians dedicated to put their passion and purpose into action. The richness of the Catholic Social and Moral teachings and the Encyclicals provide us with a clear roadmap towards establishing thriving societies where humanity and the surrounding ecology can experience God's unconditional love and goodness, in peace and harmony.  YNWB believes in the power of collective small acts of compassion:  with our unique talents and skills, every young person has a special role to play. Starting from grassroots societies, we therefore call for an active and inclusive participation of all young people including interested partners.

Focus Areas

 

Faith and Spiritual Growth

We encourage young people to deepen their faith, foster a commitment to living out the Gospel values of compassion, justice, hope and service - contributing to thriving and prosperous societies.

 

Leadership and Mentorship

Equip young people with skills, mentorship, and opportunities to become transformative leaders in their societies, as highlighted in Christus Vivit; Inspiring them to embrace their roles as agents of positive change in both spiritual and social contexts.

 

Service and Outreach

(Social solidarity) Through community service projects, we seek to build bridges of fraternity by promoting inclusivity, dignity, respect, and support for the elderly, vulnerable, as emphasized in Fratelli Tutti

 

Education, Awareness Creation & Advocacy

Create safe educational spaces to discuss pressing socio-ecological issues and dialogues on glocal policies affecting youth. We also promote civic responsibilities and active participation in community-building initiatives.

 

Livelihood Skills and Entrepreneurship

We engage young people in green skills training and entrepreneurship development for self-reliance and employment creation.

 

Networking and Collaboration

In uniting for a Common Goal, we seek to establish and strengthen networks with like-minded organisations and communities to expand our shared mission

Our Impact
Since it's existence, YNWB has been driven by the Gospel call to love, serve and stand in solidarity with the elderly among other vulnerable members of our communities. Our initiatives seeks to awaken a deep sense of compassion, social responsibility and faith-driven action.
